A few good questions
How do I calculate a discount?
Choose “What is X% of Y?” and enter the discount rate and original price. The result is the amount saved; subtract it from the original price to find the sale price.
How does percentage change work?
We calculate (new − original) ÷ absolute original × 100. A positive result is an increase and a negative result is a decrease. Change from zero is undefined.
Are results exact?
